Yummy Yarn

I was supposed to do the nasty, horrible sewn cast off for my friend's birthday scarf tonight. I started, then I ate some dinner, then I remembered the emergency algebra tutoring session I had to do. Two hours of first year aglebra isn't the most difficult way to make money, but it isn't welcome when you have (potentially) hours of casting off to do.

On the kpixie gift certificate front, here are some of the things I'm thinking of:
My brothers think the Shepherd Sock colors are hideous, but I love them. I also love the handpainted sock yarn (All Things Heather, I believe) colors, probably for Jaywalkers. And, yep, it's the Vintage Cotton again. They've got new colors! Swoon.

I may just buy some of the sock yarn now and save the rest of the gift certificate for later. Or should I get some of the cotton instead, since I'm wanting to knit something other than another pair of socks right now? Decisiveness has never been one of my strong points, but I need to work on that. I don't have anything to knit!
