Grey is a PITA to photograph.I did most of this while babysitting on Saturday night. After I finished the ribbing, it stopped hurting my hands as much, so I just kept going.
A note about the yarn, though: It's five plies of a laceweight twisted together to make what is supposed to be a DK weight. I know I tend to knit tight, but I got 7 stitches per inch on U.S. size 3 needles, which is what I usually get with fingering weight yarn. Luckily the yarn came on two cones, so I'm using it doubled on U.S. size 6 needles and getting 5.5 stitches per inch.
