Baby, It's Cold Outside
It is very rare that I wear proper shoes, unless it's for some kind of atheletic activity. But when it's freezing like it is today (freezing = 53 degrees Fahrenheit), even I will get out the shoes and socks. Mostly it's an excuse to wear the socks.

Holy Cow, I was freezing today at school. I was glad to have hand-knit socks on.
