Really lousy picture courtesy of my (1.3 megapixel) webcam.

I'm wearing an almost-complete sock right now, trying to gauge how I should finish. I want to add another pattern repeat to make them taller--but what if I run out of yarn. I want them to have a top like these have, but I'm not wild about all the grafting that would require.

So maybe I'll just snip the yarn now, knit the second sock, and then decide how to finish. Or maybe I'll leave the length the way it is , do some standard 1x1 rubbing, and maybe add a picot bind-off to mix things up a bit.
