Pattern: Plain sock with 2x2 ribbing on the cuff, a heel flap and turned heel, shaping for my dad's wide foot, and a wedge toe
Yarn: Skacel Trampoline color 229, 2 balls
Needles: Susan Bates Silvalume DPNs, U.S. size 1 (2.25 mm)
Gauge: 9 stitches/inch
Like: The yarn was on sale.
Dislike: The pooling.
We're still waiting for the final verdict on these. I doubt that I'd wear them, but luckily they aren't for me. My dad's birthday is in a few days, so I'll just have to wait and see what he thinks. But judging from how often he wears the zebra socks, I think he'll like these.
(And speaking of the zebra socks, I caught him wearing them with sandals again the other day.)
