Did you know that in The Wizard of Oz (the book), Dorothy really had silver slippers? The producers of the film changed the color of her shoes to ruby so they could show off the Technicolor.
Speaking of Technicolor, I started socks from the ONline Supersocke 100 (color 792) on Thursday. I love colors, but I'm fairly certain that I'd only wear this particular color combination on socks. I thought the stripe pattern was fairly vile at first--"like a bag of jelly beans vomited on my socks"--but it's starting to grow on me. It reminds me of crayons.
