Deception

I almost didn't knit these socks because I was afraid they'd take forever, but the pattern is a lot quicker than I thought it would be. I haven't spent much time on them, but I've already got three pattern repeats done.


I was in the car, not driving, for four and a half hours on Saturday, but I didn't knit. I should have, though. Imagine how much I would have gotten done. Oh well.

So here's the question: do I knit one more pattern repeat before the heel and make the socks for my Grandma for Christmas, or do I knit one and a half repeats and keep them for myself? I like the pattern, and I like the yarn, but I wear my Rainbows something like 360 days a year. Still, I'm inclined to keep them and wear them on the rare occasions that call for "real shoes".
