Dyeing these was fun. I used Jacquard acid dyes from KnitPicks in Fire Red. I was originally going to use some Black Cherry Kool-Aid, but wasn't sure if it would dye the synthetic part of the yarn. The result is a nice bright red--it's actually a bit redder than it looks in the picture but it's overcast this morning so I couldn't get good light--but there are some white flecks, which must be the elastic.
